Accepted: application/pdf, .pdf. Desktop cap 100 MiB per file.

[{page,x,y,width,height}] in PDF points, origin bottom-left. Numeric alternative to drawing.

How it works

  1. Choose an unencrypted PDF.
  2. Paste reviewed rectangles as JSON [{page,x,y,width,height}] in PDF points, origin bottom-left.
  3. Keep Review on. Process rebuilds pixels into a new PDF.

Files and region coordinates stay in this tab. Regions are not in share URLs.

Overlays are not redaction. Attachments are dropped. Unreviewed runs are refused.

Supported inputs and outputs

PDF in. Raster PDF plus a JSON report out.

A SECRET string under a rectangle is absent from text extraction and file bytes.

Questions and answers

Is a black box on top enough?

No. Safe redaction burns pixels and discards original objects.
