How it works

  1. Choose two unencrypted PDFs.
  2. Pick visual, text, or both, plus a pixel threshold.
  3. Process for a JSON report. Diff images are optional.

Alignment is by page index. Byte inequality is not treated as a visual diff.

Identical files report zero changes. An added page is a 100% visual change.

Questions and answers

Is a checksum a visual diff?

No. Visual mode compares rendered pixels above the threshold.
