How it works

  1. Choose an unencrypted PDF.
  2. Set the non-background ink threshold and optional ignored margins.
  3. Process. The tool refuses to delete every page.

Files stay in this tab. No upload.

Blank detection is a luminance heuristic. Empty streams are not blank by themselves.

Supported inputs and outputs

PDF in. PDF plus a JSON blank report out.

Example

A pure white page is removed; a faint gray mark is kept at the default 0.5% threshold.

Questions and answers

Does an empty content stream count as blank?

No. The page is rasterized and measured.
