Tokens: {stem}, {index:3}, {ext}, {name}.

How it works

  1. Choose files. Originals stay untouched.
  2. Set a pattern such as {stem}-{index:3}.
  3. Process to preview names and download renamed copies.

Files stay in this tab. No upload.

Collisions get a suffix. The tool never overwrites the source path.

Supported inputs and outputs

Any local files. Output is copies with new names.

Example

a.txt with {stem}-{index:3} becomes a-001.txt.

Questions and answers

Does this rename on disk in place?

No. You download copies.
